Ndendeki is described by the natives as as a giant turtle whose shell is 12
to 15 feet (4 to 5 meters) in diameter, though the size is probably smaller.
It is believed to be the same as Trionyx triunguis.

The shell is described as being more rounded compared to other turtles.
Marcellin Agagna identified Ndendeki as Trionyx triunguis and believes
the actual size of the shell is closer to 6.5 feet (2 meters).

Habitat
Ndendeki lives in region of Lake Tele in The People's Republic of the Congo
on the continent of Africa.

the bottom of rivers and lakes.
